Development Plans

We have been working together over the last 2 years and have achieved the following so far:

Acquisition of the ‘John F. Kennedy (JFK)’ Community Field from the Diocese of Waterford (Dept. of Agriculture) to our community company.
Application and granting of planning permission for re-development works at this community field which will include dressing rooms, several public amenities such as a gym and a walkway around the field.
Fundraising and purchase of a piece of land beside Knockanore National School which will be known as the Community Park, application and granting of planning permission on this land for an astroturf pitch, carpark and in time, a playground.
Leasing of the former HSE (Health Service Executive) medical building which we plan to re-purpose into community tea-rooms and multi-purpose space for community members to enjoy.
